Wabi Sabi Neriage* pots. The two different clays (porcelain and red stoneware) have been mixed on the wheel then thrown together to form a colored cloudy effect. Series of stoneware matcha bowls made during my stay in Japan at the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park. For these bowls I wanted to explore the tactile features of the clay as well as its natural colors, blending directly on the wheel a fine black clay with a grogged grey clay.
