In July 2012 I have taken a crash-course of introduction to porcelain. I have experimented with paper clay and slip casting. Here are the results of this love at first sight.
Series of casted bowls with a surface treatment through the use of lacquer, blowtorch, coffee grounds and liquid porcelain.
I have also experimented with the effects of the addition of seeds to the paper clay. When they are in the oven they explode creating some very interesting surface effects, that look like underwater creatures.
