The riddle of the rattle
I’ve made this rattle for a little contest we had in my wheel-throwing class, which theme was “baby’s best ceramic gift”, at the occasion of the royal baby birth. Artisan cachaça bottle
This bottle was crafted to hold a great artisan cachaça I brought from my last trip to Brazil. This cachaça was crafted by the owner of a small restaurant at Costa da Lagoa in Floripa and he gave it to me as a keepsake of our lunch after the trekking that got us there. Miniature plant pots
These mini-pots were created to help the propagation of plants. As some plants are easily propagated my cuttings, I created a small dish that holds the cutting above a pot which is filled with water. The reason for this is that the roots will develop through the contact with water, but they are also sensible to light, so this dish will create the perfect separation between the needs of the roots and the needs of the leafs.
